All things logical and rational say that I should stay at my current job unless I have a full time job offer with benefits. Not a 2-3 month sub position at a school I adore for the position I have my masters degree in. The sub job would pay approximately what I make now, but it would end in January, maybe February. I miss college
I am feeling nostalgic for college today, so I made a $50 donation to my school in memory of my favorite professor of all time. Next week it will officially be one year since the passing of Brother Donald Mansir. Next summer I'll celebrate my 5 year college reunion. Nothing seems quite like it used to be, and for that I am both sad and grateful ( Read more... ) -

Last night I went out for dinner, drinks, and dessert as D Bar in Hillcrest with the best girl friends I have here in San Diego to celebrate my 26th birthday. We had a phenomenal time. Then we went to The Office in North Park for some serious dancing. ( Read more... ) -

How the heck is July already?? Where did 2012 go?? Where did the past 12 months go??
I'm having time issues today. I'll be 26 in 2 months and still feel 23. Weird.
Also, weddings. WHY IS EVERYONE ENGAGED?!? Love them all, but seriously, people need to slow down. I would like to approve all proposals before they happen.

Less than 2 hours ago, one of my best friends got engaged. Chris finally proposed to Pam. It's like the world just makes more sense now. I feel more complete. That may sound odd, but it's genuine and sincere.

I'm really quite proud of myself for my performance last night. I was the DD for my friends, but still managed to have an amazing night out. I danced around the bar like nobody was watching, and even though they were, I really didn't care.
