Some of my icons have been stolen, so I'm going to be moving them around in hopes of breaking the URL. Just so you know. For now it's only the American Idol ones.

If your icons have also been stolen by the chick on Xanga try moving the icons. It's annoying to have to repost them, but it's better than letting her get away with this scott free ( Read more... )

Who is it on Xanga that's stealing them, what's their address?
I hate it when people do that! It's just rude to steal icons that people have put so much work into making >:(

If you can figure out her ISP, you can report her to them, or maybe to xanga, and they'll send her a legal notice telling her she has 24 hours to take them down. ;)

Xanga doesn't care unless the owner of the picture the icons were made from complains.

I've sent a report to Xanga, thanks for the info, I'm a Premium subscriber there, hopefully that stands for some significance to them ...lol, just kidding. Even though none of the icons were made by me, I really cannot tolerate icon-stealers. ;)

I'm more irritated that other people's icons were stolen. All I had to do was move them. But some of the stolen ones are people's personal icons and moving them would cause them to disapeer from old entries. Quite irking.

I hate icon stealers. Your icons are good, so what I would do is make it all friends only with a public entry that says "comment to be added." Wow I wonder how you found out she stole them in the first place.. and cool, you changed the urls! Haha I was looking at her site and going "wow there are a lot of Xs I wonder how THAT happened" XD

Well, I like being public. If everything I made was being yoinked I'd FO the whole thing in a second, but since it's only this once...I'll give mankind another chance.

She got them from two American Idol icon communities I post to (one for Constantine and one for Bo). Someone on there found out about the stealing and made it known. The notice is going through many AI communities now.

Someone called 'heiressicons' (or something) took my Lindsay Lohan icons. :P Course, I have nothing to gripe about yet unless it gets as bad as it did before when I had __jonquil. :| I'm just going to make my icon lj friends only and muddle my way through the confusion that causes. XD
