speaking of Iraq

i don't like war - and i don't think that that is news to any of my readers.  but i've been pretty neutral on the whole "War on Terror" up to now as i do think that the US has about the biggest uniformed military in the world and probably the best chance to make a difference.

to me, this horrible war seemed like a necessary evil.  i didn't feel ( Read more... )

we have the 8th largest military in the world -- 2nd largest if you only count active duty troops. regardless, yes, we (probably) have the best equipped and trained military in the world.

i'm still not sure if that means we're doing anything but harm.

You should also talk to Blanche Lincoln and Mark Pryor, especially since Pryor is on the Armed Services Committee in the current Congress.
