Sometimes one catches oneself collapsed on one's sofa, the only reminder of the outside world the turbulence caused by one's girlfriend's laughter. One is jarred back to reality in a terrifying burst of confusion and one realizes one is still watching "Son In Law" on Encore. This is when one goes to bed.
