The best compliment I received all week was that I was doing a wonderful, fantastic, amazing job at my volunteer gig. I give up my Saturday morning & afternoon every other week so I can communicate science and nature to people. It felt good to know that I'm doing it effectively. I even had a parent ask me if I was going to be the one doing

At the Nature Museum in Chicago. It's a pretty fun gig, I gotta say.

Nature sketching is supposed to be draw what you see as accurately as possible, but usually ends up as scribble time, which is just as fun.
