Any clever bod out there have any experience with copying stuff from a Sky+ box onto a PC to then burn on to DVD?

I have a DVD burner on my PC but looking at the diagrams etc in the Sky+ manual it looks like I may need to buy a standalone DVD recorder to get the job done.

I just use a standalone DVD but only because my PC is nowhere near my Sky+

I've read an article about how it can be done though. I'll try and dig it out.
