I have no idea how to comment on your tumblr and I'm actually kind of intimidated. One of the posts has 797 "notes." Does...that mean 797 people liked/commented, or...something, because DAMN GIRL you popular. I feel like an outsider there--
"What is this place? Where do I belong?"
so, do I...like....need a tumblr to comment, or...
tumblr is vastly, vastly inferior to livejournal, and I am considering double posting some of what I do there over here, because the formatting hurr is so much bettah.
tumblr is more or less based on the idea of 'reblogging'. Like, if someone posts something on their tumblr that I enjoyed, I will repost (reblog) it on my tumblr and so on. A lot of the pictures are popular and have been reblogged many MANY times and I am just one of the names involved. so grl don't worry I'm not in like the SECRET TUMBLR CLUB OF COOL KIDS. I have a few friends on it and they occasionally reblog or click 'like' about something I originally posted.
commenting is not really commenting...I think you have to reblog someone's post and then make your OWN comment about it in YOUR post, which would mean you'd need an account. feh. And then when the original poster sees that they can reblog THAT and comment back. it's a really shitty interface for people who want to talk :( I'm still figuring it out myself
