'I still feel like I'm behind my peers on so much. I see people with lives, families, kids, and I wonder when it will be my turn; when will I have the one(s) ment for me.' I have been there and always dreaded the place. Hope you have a good time here. Cheers !

I feel the same way even with being married - when will I have a better job? when will we have kids? when will we be able to afford to buy a home?
I'm glad I'm not alone, but one of those is a partner. I see friends of mind with them, and I'm trying not to be jealous. I'm 36 and want to carry at least one child, and the older I get, the less likely it seems.
Ha, It's less keeping up with the joneses and more wanting kids, really, though some of it, admittedly is keeping up. I want kids, though, and the older I get the more unlikely it seems that I will carry my own, which I would like to do.
