We are entirely smooth
Why won't the storm come?
It's been cloudy and thundering and even raining now and again all day, but the rain just won't come. It's teasing me. Look!
I want it to thunder so loud my heart skips a beat. Heck yes. Bring on the summer storms.
Ahem. So, yes, this past Saturday was Keira's 20th birthday party. I wasn't able to show up until after ten because I had to work and then get stuff from home and then get pizza. (By the way, don't go into Little Cesar's at 10 p.m. looking for a slice: you'll just have to buy an entire pizza.) When I did get there Mandy just about took me out because she'd had almost an entire bottle of wine to herself, so she was done. Jess was also tipsy but not as much as Mandy. All of Keira's church camp friends were there this year and hardly any Glenview kids, so I pretty much stuck with Mandy and Jess most of the time. We talked to Brandon (a.k.a. Child Bride) a lot because he's sad that he and Keira aren't hooked up. Mandy made fun of this one guy who looked like one of these guys:
Mandy called him B4-4 all night but I think his name was Shawn.
I didn't even drink that much but at one point I couldn't really do anything except lay on Keira's bed with Emily. I think it was a combination of the alcohol, the pot, and my tiredness. After a little lay down I felt better and chatted with this guy Jimmy for a while. He was nice, but young. Like all of them there.

They were $6.99 from Smart Set so I got two pairs. I really wanted the black ones but they didn't have them in my size. Ah well. These are cute anyway. And so comfy!
PRIDE this weekend! Woot woot! I can't wait to be chillin' in downtown Toronto for the day!
In regard to my music choice, although the movie Superman looks like garbage ... the soundtrack is pretty freaking awesome.
