So, I got my first A+ in News Reporting. When I handed in my story today just before the six o'clock deadline, Shelley asked me if I had taken my personal column out of my file folder yet and had a look at it, and I hadn't because I'd been searching for the elusive subway musicians all day. She told me that it was exactly what she was looking for

i really liked that article you wrote about your mom. i know for years everytime my mom was away from the house and there was an accident on the road she was on some part of me would be scared that it was her. My family always tells me of the times when i was young that my mom would go to the store which was just across the street when we lived in grotsky ol hamilton, and stand there and cry at the door until she came back, even though i could see her all the while. i loled so hard at the spaceship part, i wish i had a spaceship, it'd really make the trip back and forth to the university easier.
so yeah, i have to do my own work now so good job! you're obviously doing super in school (unlike some of us aka me :(:(:() so yeah..this is turning into a novel.

Cassandra, you always seem to amaze me, whether it's just something witty you say, or something fascinating you write, or how cool you make your live journal. Even at a very young age your mom could see how great you were going to be, and she was so right.

Your personal column was really well written, I learned a lot of things I didn't know before, and I'm glad I'm going to bed soon so I don't have to worry that you made my makeup run a lot. You deserved that A+, you deserve a lot, and well, sorry all those things can't be given to you.
