Do you ever cook? If so, do you ever miss cooking?
Whenever I return home from summer camp, or the dorms, I love the feeling of switching from a scoop of mass-produced food to making a whole meal just for myself.
And then I would order pizza delivery just because I should.
I would have to say that I've been missing cooking for about two years now. I've actually gone so far as to purchase all the ingredients of my favorite family recipe of Tuna and Noodles, but I haven't cooked it. Even bought the colander I needed and everything.
Really I find it hard to motivate myself to do the things that I really want to do, or would enjoy. Mostly because I feel that I have to make up for lost time by being away, so I play games, or watch movies to keep the focus of my mind, instead of focusing it myself.
But I've noticed that now that it's getting closer to me leaving my current hell/place of employment that I can put my focus on things, and it's not as hard to come up with answers to what I'm doing. Though my current New Years resolution still hasn't been completed and I am of the opinion that it would help. It's actually the same one that I've used for something like seven or either years now. And it's just as simple as "find a girlfriend". No such luck though...
