But it's better not having to replace the Diesel, especially on your budget and with fuel prices the way they're spiralling up.

I think I'd be tempted to leave it open to, but only if I could be assured of watching the thieving bastard try to drive their car. :D It would be worth the $20 to witness that!!

Part of me wonders if I could get the repair shop next door to pay me to do that... if it went right in their tank the shop next door might be as fas as they could get... {{evil grin}}

Of course, you could set up an old junker as a "honey pot" and liberally lace the gas tank with moth balls. Of course, you'd better not want to drive the junker again, either...
