Hey, could I hire you to design a website graphic for me?
I'm making an online literary magazine, and wanted a pretty header. Anyhoo, it's a real magazine (even though it's for class), so I would be willing to pay.
Okay, so basically I'm looking for a banner at the moment.
The working title is 'Durham Short Stories', though I might change it to something more clever.
I'm not too sure what I want. I was thinking of green as the main colour, and I know I want the graphics to be pretty but not too girly and I realize that this is not nearly enough to go off of.
Basically, it's an online literary magazine for students at Durham College and UOIT.
Okay, how about l do something like this: http://verwho.com/images/image04.jpg only in green hues. lt's a pretty style that would appeal to most university-ages people, but isn't girly. Also, to make it topical, l would make them holding and reading books, perhaps exchanging them. Probably someone would have glasses to express a reading personality. Also, l'm going to need to know what size you'd need this in (dimensions or pixels, though dimensions is better), deadline, and what you're willing to pay.
For my own benefit, l'd like to write a contract for this, and we'll both sign it. That's something l'm going to have to get used to doing anyhow, and l'd really like the practice. All the more so with a friend! l'll feel less nervous.

So that's my jumping off point, thoughts?
