What was your favorite read of 2006?

Mine was The Prestige by Christopher Priest. I couldn't put it down. When I was nearing the end, I even took lunch/tea breaks alone so I could read it!

OMG, that was my 2nd favorite...I LOOOOVE that book! I think I will be reading it once a year!

I read the prophet Hosea the other night. He's a good read if you know the situation he's talking about. I find most of the prophets come alive when read aloud.

Mostly this year I read books for research purposes, some of which nearly broke my heart, they were so dull. Malory's "Morte d'Arthur" is entirely over-rated, and a good demonstration of how not to tell a story.

Hosea? If so I'll be happy to advise what is going on, because some background is useful.

Malory? Please, read TH White instead! Or start at what Malory called book 18, where he finally develops the ability to write.

Hosea is what I was talking about.

I read Malory so long ago I cannot remember it much haha!
