I have been waiting for days and days worrying about where this delivery is. Dave's birthday present actually. So I go downstairs this morning to find a card from the postie saying 'sorry you were out'. I was not out. I was in. I have been up for hours and my doorbell is really really loud. No one rang it. when we get things like that from the postie, we have to leave 4 hours for the sorting office/collection to get it back again. You could always try again late this afternoon?

Hard working people that they are, they are only open until 1pm. And since the guy also did not fill in what time he was here (helpful, isn't he?) they can't guarantee it will be there by then.
And he was most disinterested in the fact that I was in all along. I just hope I am feeling less hormonal tomorrow otherwise there may be bloodshed in the sorting office.

Yesterday, when DHL had instructions to send my parcel to Hertfordshire, they sent it from Lambeth or Heathrow to Lambeth to Heathrow. And then told me it'd have to be today instead. They knew at 5am the label said "Hertfordshire". FAIL.
