This morning I looked out the window and exclaimed, "it snowed!" to Deb ( Read more... )

You would trade Six Feet Under for the Wire!? Holy mackaral! Must check this out asap! How are you liking Freaks and Geeks? It's one of my favourites of all time, but I too only saw the whole series on DVD.

I wouldn't want to have to make the trade, but if I was forced to. I'm feeling evangelical about this one.

F&G is great. I'm liking Kim and Nick a lot more this time around, and I didn't realize how little Ken is actually in the show. I love Bill's delivery of lines more than almost anything.

I'm a pretty big fan of Harris and some of the ridiculous things he says. Bill is a more prominent character though, and also hilarious. There's one line in particular that Harris says (I believe it was about kissing) and I almost pee'd myself.

Man I love that show. I HAVE to buy the DVDs this holiday.

Every time I see Harris, I feel like he is a person I already know in real life. There's just something about him that reminds me of my actual high school.

Its funny to me that I'm still thinking of words to replace "said" as my casenotes generally sound something like this "Soandso stated that child has extreme temper tantrums and punches them in the face when angry. Soandso shared that the tantrums have been escalating lately and they're not sure what triggers them. Soandso stated that child has always been difficult to soothe and quick to become emotional. Soandso identified that one of their goals for treatment is to reduce the frequency and duration of child's tantrums"That's so funny about BC. They were reporting that London was going to get 15-20 CM and then it misted on top of it, and London was still going strong when I went out this morning. ha ha ( ... )

You're probably good sticking with things like said and stated. What we didn't realize as kids is that it sounds funny to change the verbs all the time.

My big thing is soup right now. It's the one thing I can experiment with, without a recipe, and not screw up.

I recently saw a movie about the Granny movement. I forget what it was called but it was about the first Granny group in Wakefield, Quebec. It was made by a filmmaker who was part of that first group. Is that what you saw? They did a screening of it in our "independent theatre" (I think it was independent at one point, and isn't anymore, but everyone still thinks of it that way). Alexa McDonough actually came in and sat beside me and I almost died. Haha ( ... )

It wasn't that movie -- this one was just about Africa -- but maybe they're connected. Alexa McDonough sat next to you?? That's crazy. I've never been that close to a famous person. I don't think I could say any words at all to Stephen Lewis, so at least you got some out.

That you say it is better than Six Feet Under is pure evil.

Heh, I specifically chose that example for you guys to show I mean business. Not that it's better (they're completely different shows, apples and oranges) but that if I could only watch one, that would have to be it.

This is Meagan.

Adrienne... THIRTY EPISODES IN JUST OVER A WEEK? I knew it was a lot, but jeeeeeez, that's like a full-time job.
