Goa, Books
We're leaving Goa today, ie. the beach. It's been a good few days of sitting, eating, sitting, swimming, and occasionally walking just for the sake of moving our limbs slightly. Back to the craziness of the city (Delhi, then Varanasi)... and these should be the craziest cities yet.

Safe arrival
We got here! Bangalore is of India's more westernized cities -- lots of IT jobs. We got a few Indian-style clothes there... loose pants and shirts, scarves. Everyone says you should try to blend in a little. Definitely cover the shoulders and legs. We also got a cell phone for emergencies and to make reservations ahead. One more day
I've just had almost five days off work, but I've spent it running around: going to immigration and the pension office, cleaning my apartment (good-bye, one whole day), moving into my friend's, etc. Not much down time. Two weeks left at this job and I'm so tired. Thank god yesterday was my last day tutoring the grandmother and her grandson, because I can't do anymore six-day weeks. Although this week is a seven-day... I had tutoring yesterday (we also went out for shabu shabu to say goodbye) and today I'm going to a different school to help with an open house ( Read more... ) -
