WATER!

As most of you are probably aware, Calgary and area is just coming out of the worst flooding in recorded history. As I live on a relative hill from the river I was not directly affected by it, though the city was placed on temporary water restrictions and water quality warnings because local treatment plants simply could not cope with the amount of ( Read more... )

If I have to refill them myself, there goes the convenience, and the lustre...

But if I had a water cooler _and_ a staff of Oompa Loompas to fill them for me...

Well... you don't so much refill them as trade them in for new full ones. And they're giant enough that you almost never have to swap them anyway.

If it could dispense water directly into smaller plastic bottles automatically and then reseal them, that would be a viable solution. The mystique is in those bastard little bottles... and the Oompa Loompas who must surely fill them.

I've been filling a single plastic water bottle with one of those kewl squeeze-nozzles all term.

Kewl. So now to test my new hypothesis you need to buy a case of bottled water (you can even get them with squeeze-nozzles) and test to see if you drink more per volume on a daily basis. :)

By sheer coincidence, I think the TV might actually be named Lucy. In which case, Frasier was on Lucy, but neither was making much noise.
