Captain's Log 15

I’ve been thinking more about the murders the past week or so. The murders and the illness that was going around earlier. I have no hard evidence to connect the two, but I was thinking that if someone was trying to kill off those of us that aren’t native to this world and the virus didn’t work, maybe they’re trying a more direct approach with the murders. Either that, or someone is using our population as guinea pigs for something else.

Do we even know who was ultimately responsible for the virus? I don’t think it was the Capekillers, I think the Capekillers are a smoke screen, intentional or not. While we’re focused on them, or at least supposed to be, something else is going things like creating the virus or whatever it was that committed the murders.

Does anyone know if the people killed had any special abilities? If they did, we might be able to determine victimology according to that. Maybe the killer or killers were testing how well they fared against specific abilities. If the people didn’t have any abilities, maybe that’s the common link, which would raise the question of why attack one of us then, and not a native to this world.

Does anyone know if the people killed had abilities?
