It wasn't any problem at all. You were a polite and charming boy, Mr. Grayson. [ she laughs, too. ] The flips made up for the inconvenience of having to introduce myself again.

I'm sure someone would be quite displeased if I wasn't at least courteous as a kid. I'm glad I didn't cause too much trouble while I was...well pint-sized.

I was always a fan of the flips. Still am. I'd like to make it up to you somehow though. If there's anything I can help with, I'm more then willing to help out.

Really, it's not a big deal. Taking care of you was cake in comparison to taking care of Bruce Wayne, age eight. [ Pepper clears her throat. That little statement probably doesn't need any further explanation. ] Flips are still way out of my range. Bruce has been giving me a crash course in self-defense, but it's been more crash than anything else. This is why I leave the heroics---and the flips---to the professionals.

If you got me dinner from this one Chinese place in the U. District that doesn't deliver and dropped it off at the Wayne building, I'll consider us even. I don't think I'll be able to sneak away to get anything to eat tonight, and I'm going to be burning the midnight oil, so it'd be a big favor to me.

[Voice; Private] I'm sorry! I just got through midterms :( This is so late;;;

...Oh. [He's sure that must have been an adventure in itself.] I've been doing them for most of my life, so I'm sure that if you had that much time to train, you'd be a master at flips too. [He does chuckle softly though.]

I can do that right now. It would be nice to meet you in person...[pauses.]...when I'm not suddenly travel-sized.

I think I'm more useful to Mr. Wayne as a woman who has spent her free hours mastering secretary-ing. Anyone can do a flip, but nobody can collate the way I do.

No rush. But I do agree. Not that travel-size you wasn't a charmer.

Ouch. I don't know if I should be offended by that statement or not. [There's a light tone to his voice though.]

I'm not the type who uses the front door though, I hope you don't mind. [They like to use the closest window to whichever room you're in, or the window in that room.] I had to start somewhere if I wanted to be the charmer I am now.

And you are quite the charmer. [ more nervous laughter. HOW DOES PEP SHOT FLIRTING? she doesn't. ] I've learned to keep the windows unlocked. Don't worry about that.

I'm pulling your leg. I would never be able to do what you do. We have people hired to do those things. I'm no good at it.
