My housing suffered a recent accident. [Actually, not so recent. Where was he staying all of this time? It...doesn't matter. (Thor and Sif wouldn't likely approve. There's a reason this is voice and not video. But it's not terrible. No one was using the place and he didn't feel comfortable walking back into the warm bosom of import housing given ( Read more... )

I can say with certainty that I had naught to do with them. I tried to try to dissuade them, in fact. I got my hair ruffled for the trouble.

[This is text, but you can tell he was indignant and upset at that. How dare they?]

The citizens of Truth or Consequences were kind to us here. I stayed nearby in case anything got out of hand, but they were fine on their own.

Are you all right in Seattle, ruined accommodations aside?

[Exactly. PRY AWAY, PEOPLE.] lowkeyinaminor December 3 2011, 06:05:28 UTC
Quite well, all things considered. We survived with most things intact and I found a delightful place to stay at...at least for the time being. I am thinking of taking a trip, though, to somewhere not quite as mob-prone.

I'm glad to hear you're safe, b--[..This is getting awkward.] Loki.

And what sort of trip? Do you have a destination in mind?

To a place called Broxton. It was...a place where I spent a great deal of time at in my Midgard.

Your chivalry is commendable, though unnecessary. It's been a couple days' journey getting to Seattle, and I've had little problem finding temporary places of residence. Playing a game for which the fate of universes is at stake inspires resourcefulness in a person.

I should note that I'm close enough that I'll need a more clearly defined location at which to meet you soon.

I thought it would be worthwhile to try while our fellow imports were feeling benign and open to having strangers sleep upon their various couches. I haven't the space, obviously.
And you must tell me about this game at some point.

What mode of transportation are you taking? If it's the train I can meet you at the [insert train station location here IDK].

I have been traveling under my own power.
Which explains the delay. It was a greater one than I anticipated.
Since approaching city limits, I've returned to using my feet. The station would still be a satisfactory place to meet. Given its public nature.

The game works like a reverse subconscious. It takes dreams and unimportant details of live, in order to weave them into a new reality. And rather like life, the goal is more or less what you make of it. There's a presented objective, but players may take several paths.
I played it with three of my friends, our universe having been spawned by a previous instance of the game housing twelve aliens. Many of them are here now, sometimes in multiple capacities.

Well, it makes sense. If it weren't for the tourist trade of Seattle I'd likely be doing the same.
Let me know when you arrive and I will meet you there.

And really. Did you succeed?

Did you make it out okay? Still need a place to live.

They ruined the first three floors of the Bins. Only a few bumps and bruises this time. But they definitely hate us here.

They appear to hate us everywhere. At least they're somewhat consistent about it. As for my health, I'm quite alright. One thing I do know how to do is run.

You're right about that. Consistent. But the regular people left us alone before.

It's good you're okay.

I'm glad you are as well. [Feels a bit weird, bro.] It was rather exciting, and yet somewhat anticlimactic.
