Looking for an apartment this time round is SO EXCRUCIATING. The best place we've found is only slightly cheaper, but would be SO much more comfortable in the winter (Trust me, ask Chris's girlfriend, or anyone, really XD our place was FREEZING XD) , given it's windows XD And 3rd flooriness XDD ( Read more... )

Oh, I so feel your pain on this. We are still apartment-less. NYC rental market is the craziest fucking thing I have ever had to deal with. And we don't even have pets or bad credit. Oy.

It is in fact, an AWESOME space, but without Lisbeth there, we can't really afford the heating costs in the winter, not to mention the fact that it takes about $250 to keep the apartment cold in winter. Not even warm. We were never warm from late November to April or so. At least not home XD

Maybe I can nose around online and find some leads for you. Keep checkin the ads in print, too. It's surprising how many apartments actually ARE NOT online. So...

How many bedrooms?
Price of rent?
How many roomies?
Do cats exist?

Tell me these things if you please.
