Day 1 - Arrival

I find myself increasingly disturbed by the information I've gathered since my impromptu arrival in this place. I've since acquired residence in a small but relatively clean home just off the northern end of the Market. I know this simply for the suspiciously convenient map that seems to be uploaded in this device. In this house, there is a desk fitted with a wide array of useful documentation equipment, and I felt it best to catalogue my presence in this place.

Luckily, when I arrived, I was still in possession of my notepad, and was able to jot down a few notes which I've affixed below:

Annabeth Chase
  • Claims it has been "tense" lately
  • Claims there was recently 'mist' in which existed 'more monsters than usual'. That others here were 'captured and tortured' in a location called the 'Labyrinth'

Unnamed "Beanie-capped" Boy - Shinjiro
  • Claims this place is the "Underworld".
  • Claim is too vague to extrapolate further
    • Addendum: Greek

  • Persists there are "dead people" and a few living
  • Claims strange things happen here. I'll say
  • Monsters?!
  • Has been in the Underworld approximately one month

Vanyel Ashkevron
  • Claims to be kidnapped for close to two months as of my arrival

Zevran
  • It would seem he claims to be an 'elf'

Mitsuru Kirijo
  • ...8 months. She's been here for 8 months.

Location
  • Underworld of Grecian myth
  • Hades and...Hecate? Hades fits. Hecate is a name I have heard in passing but do not possess much knowledge on
  • Hades Rhymes?
  • Hecate manages a board on which are posted the names of the recently departed (Note: This is to their homeworlds rather than deceased, though this may be a suggestion in the future)
  • We are visitors from other worlds.
  • Only visitors are allowed access to the network
  • The locals seem to be just that
    • Possible this is not some strange sort of "nexus" but actually another world entirely

  • - There is a temple?

This entire business has be flustered, and while I'm loathe to admit it, I think I'm too tired to think much more on it. I'll retire for now, and in the morning (or what will pass for it in a place underground) I'll see if this place has anything that passes for tea, and organize the information I've gathered.

Day 2 - Organization and Employment

I met a woman named Misaki Asou today, though 'woman' is a term I use very loosely. Through her I've learned two very useful pieces of information.

    1. There is a monetary system in place in the Underworld. Novel, that, and revealing. This suggests this 'afterlife' is not a resting place, but a continuation of life, truly an after life, a very dismal thought. I've never put much thought into there being any life after this one, and having one so...forcefully forced upon me is disturbing at best. The monetary system in question is based on various levels of course and very archaic.
    2. There is enough demand for a delivery service to require additional employees. Also interesting. Also unexpected.

After realizing I have no access to my estate here, I pounced on the opportunity to seek employment at this company, Strife Delivery Service, as soon as was appropriate and start two days from now. From her very basic description, the job mostly involves cataloging and customer service. I've...never worked in customer service, but I should be able to acclimate myself well enough.

The Underworld itself seems to be comprised of a very... eclectic assortment of individuals from various different worlds. I'd like to investigate it myself, but not without some sort of protection. The Market seems a good starting point. Perhaps they sell firearms.

Addendum: The tea in this house has gone past its expiry date. I should ask Ms. Asou when to expect my first payment. My first order of business is to replace this supply. Soon.
