That is seriously beautiful - lovely work. Actually, lovely doesn't even come close.
I am totally impressed by this - it's so wonderful to see really top quality artistic talent in fanart.
I have a friend who is a professional artist now, who started out doing fan art back in the 80s, with a similar pencil style. I've always loved her work, and I hope we see more of yours.
Awww! *squees and squishes* Thank you for such a lovely comment! It's made me smile so much my face is starting to hurt!
I'm so glad that you like it so much! And it's great to hear about your friend! I hope some day I could go professional too, but I think I'll have to practice with drawing a lot more Merlin art first. XD he he Thanks again!
This is so gorgeous. It is like the real picture itself, and the likeliness is insane.
I don't know much about art, so I can't gush - but oh, I love the shading too. =) You should totally draw them in a position of your liking, not necessarily off a shot. You have such talent.
Ahh... yeah... I'm going to work on that.... Right now I'm just like a really slow photocopier. lol. But I'm going to practice doing original pieces soon, I promise.... *is unsure*...wellll... eventually anyway....it just seems so hard and scary! >.<
Anyway, minor melt downs aside O.o ...Thanks so much for such a great comment! I'm thrilled that you like the shading and think the likeness is insane. That really made me smile. Thank you! :D
Wow. The detail here is astounding! You managed to give everything a unique texture, from the armor to the cloth and stitching of the jacket to the individual strands of hair. Wonderful.
*squees* Thank you, I'm so glad that you think so!! I was surprised just how hard the fabric was to do but nothing beats the difficulty of hair! Gah! Bradley's hair in particular was horrible! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE his light, wispy hair >.< but...well.... there's only so much wispiness I can cope with right now. lol. So THANK YOU! I'm so pleased to know that those difficult parts look good! XD
This is quite wonderful! I wish I had some sort of visual talent, but until that day comes, I'll just have to live vicariously through great artists like you!
lol Sure, feel free! So what would you like most? The shoulder pain of sitting in an awkward angle whilst drawing it? Or the completely bitten nails from the stress of not being able to get it to look just right? he he Please help yourself!...no seriously... *tries to shove said pains and grievances towards you*... he he
Anyway...thank you so much for commenting! I'm so glad that you like it! >.<
