Aw, I always liked The Storyteller. It's been ages since I've seen any of the episodes, but when I was in high school they were rather inexplicably on TV (again?), and I enjoyed them. I wish they weren't so mixed-up in my mind, though: just an impression of cherries (???) and brightness, to be honest. And a girl going, "No, that's not the way!" Which might be some other fairy-tale show entirely, but I *think* that's one of them, of the "Cupid and Psyche"/"East of the Sun and West of the Moon" sort.

Oh, the storyteller. I bought a dvd of both the original and the greek myths, only to have them stolen at my birthday party. (Sidenote: who goes to a person's birthday party and steals their stuff? Can you say BAD FRIEND?!)

My favourite episode is Sapsorrow. I think the series was actually what provoked my love of mythology - I have so many books from different mythological cultures now!

I love The Storyteller! I watched them as a kid, and the hedgehog story haunted my brain for years. A few years ago I went and rewatched them on DVD and had the fun of playing Spot the British Actor, like you. Good times.

I forgot to mention when I posted about the Burn Notice pilot - my roommate got madly excited that Fiona was a grown-up Sonora from Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken!

ETA: Were you into Fairy Tale Theater as a kid?
