The appearance of the countryside gives him a bit of pause, and he resists the temptation to look around for a vineyard.

Instead, he shoulders his bag, calmly enough.

"Horses, then, you said?"

"We should be able to buy some at the farmstead. This is a relatively well-off part of the country, and if they've got enough money to manage sheep, they'll have a few horses."

He shoulders his bag and smiles at Parry before starting to walk to the farmstead.

I suppose I would have thought it would be the other way around, mon amour, but as this is after all your country...

That many sheep indicate a fairly well-off family, if they can afford to feed and maintain that many animals.

"I'll barter, if necessary. I've got some jewelry that should more than cover the cost of horses and gear."

Within the link, he explains the monetary system since the mun cannot remember right now.
