It's some time after dusk, and Alex has only just managed to finish his meeting for the day. He leaves Duke Gareth's office and heads back to his own chambers.

He has not quite made it back before a hand reaches out and grabs his elbow, pulling him into an alcove.

It is probably a good thing that it's a familiar hand, and a familiar man in the alcove with him, however.

Especially since the man is being quite familiar, and stealing a kiss from Alex a moment later.

Alex lets out a muffled yelp, then relaxes in Parry's arms and kisses him back, though there's still a certain tension in him.

He's also still kissing Alex, who is pulled quite close to him, where he's leaning back against the wall of the alcove.
