It hit me today.  The toys I buy are expensive.  Back in the day, the most money that would be spent on a toy was around 50 bucks..the supper-duper awesome batmobile with action figures.  Then later on it was 100 bucks for the ultimate lego creation.  Sometimes there would be spikes when I wanted a game system or a really awesome lego technic car (
