To be brought to the attention of Matt, Phil, and Jay: I discovered something today that would be good in addition to or in replacement of this Friday's regular activities. The Fiery Furnaces will be playing at First Avenue at 8:00 this Friday, June 23. Tickets are $13 in advance, $15 at the door so we should probably get going on this as early ( Read more... )

Well, so far this hasn't quite been the useful collection of responses I was hoping for... (yes I could make it for that, no I can't get down here an extra hour and a half earlier, and or the like)

Yes, I can make it down an hour and a half earlier. (: If this is a-go, let me know as soon as you can, okay? I'll need a little bit of advance warning (i.e. at least Friday morning) so I can tell my bosses I plan to leave a little early.
