VD rolls 'round again

I meant to have this up much, much earlier.  I blame classes, homework, and television (especially the last one - both Bones and Lost were on).  However, just squeaking in before the 12:00 mark, my second annual tribute to VD.  I'm not entirely happy with it, but that's what I get for having to hurry.  Perhaps I can say that its elements of ( Read more... )

All right, that's it. I've been bothered by it so much that I'm going to re-draw it. Dir. Especially with the size and placement of the head. And the expression. Great. Now I'm getting upset with my flip expressions of being upset.

I was gonna say good use of perspective and focus, but I fear you will harm yourself in self-digust. So I will smile instead. ^__^

If it weren't for everyone telling me it was Valentine's Day, I would not have remembered. What a pointless holiday. And it seems kinda unfair for the guys. Meh.

Thank you. I like the perspective too. It took me a bit of playing around with reed and CD cases to get things looking right. However the head bothers me and I didn't have time to do anything interesting to the background. The piano legs look kind of goofy, too. Maybe I can draw replacements for those elements and just edit them in.

I don't know if it's unfair to guys in particular (unless you count the disproportionate profusion of the color pink), but I think it is galling to someone-less people out there of either (any) sex. At the moment, the best thing to come out of this holiday is the day after when all the candy is on sale. I just bought a huge amount of Marshmallow Peeps hearts for 50% off! Whee!

I like the angle of that drawing. Nice touch with the piano too.
