Have you seen Seven Samurai yet? Very long movie, but very good. I believe they remade that into a western too..The Magnificent Seven.

Not yet, but it's on my list. Once I'm through Kurosawa's work (or at least that which is readily available) I think I'll move on to the Zatoichi series and Lone Wolf and Cub. I want to read the Manga of Cub, but volume one always seems to be missing from the Roseville library.

Man, I can still hum the theme from Mag Seven on cue. I should go watch that one, too.

...And do homework at some point...

Samurai 7 is a good anime series, if that's your thing..I believe that's also based on the Seven Samurai..except it's kinda weird, setting-wise.
