just got back from checking out an apartment at 57th & division. it wasn't good enough. it costs more and isn't as good as our current one. i have a feeling that's going to be the trend. suck, man. i hate apartment hunting. i'm pissed that we're being punished for having an asshole neighbor. i talked to our manager yesterday about him and she said ( Read more... )

1. Your neighbor has, according to the Oregon state legislator, criminally harassed you guys. It's not exactly enough to arrest him or anything, but you should look into filing a police report against him, specifically for the incident when you were pushed down and the fact that your manager doesn't seem to think this is a serious issue.

2. While the housing market has gone down, cost of apartment living has gone up. Your rent for that same apartment would probably be about $30-60 higher per month if you were to move into that same complex now. Unfortunately, you'll have to apply that theory to where you look elsewhere :/

oh, i totally filed a police report against him after he pushed me down. i've supplied our manager with the info. part of the problem is that in october, our management changed and the old company didn't give the new company much info (even though i specifically asked them to make sure to do so). so that's an additional obstacle.
