today was kind of boring. but informative. i watched a documentary on the lewis and clark expedition. i drank lots of seltzer. and oolong tea. i have consumed 1,822 calories today.

ugh, i'm getting a cold today. alyssa also hurt her back in a fender bender today on the way to her dentist. sucky day for us. i'm hoping full sail wassail (okay, and emergen-C and cold-eez) will make it better. you know what they say: starve a fever, get a cold drunk.

dude, the new neil young album (le noise) is rad. it's just guitars and vocals the whole time, with lots of sick reverb and echo (thanks to daniel lanois, aka brain eno's other half). it feels so warm and cuddly in its echo-y fuzziness. on some of the songs, you can even hear the bleed from the electric guitar strings on the vocal mic. i love that ( Read more... )
