probably WTC... becuase at least he burns in the other one. I bet so many people will jump up at the end of the new Wicker Man, if it ends the same way anyway. It better dammit!
I read a review on World Trade Center earlier, and the film critic said the movie appeared to be made in such a way that Oliver Stone seemed like he actually used data from a textbook on Hollywood cliches (from the past and present)to go about his directorial work.
Supposedly, the film is this nonchalant re-creation of the most profound scenes taken from aired 9/11 footage and that it did not work upon anything other than the expectancy that it was based on actual events and the people involved in therein.
The funny thing is, It took how long to make this ??? HA.
The only movie I'm going to see with planes this year is-
SNAKES ON A PLANE ! It wouldn't matter if S.O.A.P. was based on real events, it's going to be the better movie by far this year.
I'm pretty sick of how the media is kissing WTC's ass. I figure it has to be full of either blind flag-waving überpatriotism or group-hug sentimentality (or probably both). Either way I don't need another movie about how ZOMG AMERICA IZ TEH AWESUMZ!!!111!
I'll still be in Kansas when SOAP premieres, so I'll miss out on all the snake-throwing adventure. As Stephen Colbert would say: "I am in love with this motherfuckin' snake!"
2nd image isn't showing up for me. I"m guessing it's the "Flight 97" or something movie.
Anyway, I just wanted to point out that whomever designed the WTC movie poster is an EXCELLENT graphic designer. Great contrast, good framing of the subject and way to imply towers by using large rectangular black spaces.
The 2nd image is a poster for the Wicker Man remake, also starring Nicolas Cage: stolen from here. I saw the first TV previews for it yesterday. *shudders*
I will agree that the WTC poster's designer had a good eye. I kept looking through Google Image Search for something cheesier!
