so it appears that . . .

. . . I'm going to be homeless by Tuesday. If anyone has a couch I could sleep on for a week at most (I don't know how long I'm going to be without an apartment, but I don't want to wear out my welcome anywhere), starting Monday or Tuesday, I'd be much obliged/give you booze and/or share whatever food I have left.

wait, what?

Where ya living at the moment?

Unfortunately I don't have a place to offer as we have too much shit and my man is very territorial about his space. If I know someone nearby where you're looking to be... I will get the contact going.

No one should be homeless at this time of year!

Right now I'm in a campus apartment, but since last semester was my last one as a Purchase student, I have to be out Monday (though if I weren't in PREP I would've had to be out on the last day of finals!).

if you can find a way up here you are more than welcome at my house for as long as you need! and you know once school starts up again h2-1 is all yours.

Thanks for the offer! But Monticello is too far away for carless me. (Although even if I had an off-campus apartment already, I'm sure, come next semester, I'd still be That Guy who hangs around the college I no longer go to.)

That would help me out a lot! Medium/small dogs are fine with me, and I'd probably be gone a lot during the day to look for work.

I got your IMs and while I definitely appreciate the gesture, one of those listings was a few months old (so almost certainly taken) and the other one wanted somebody who was drug-free without exception and I wouldn't want to lie to potential roommates. I wouldn't feel comfortable committing to an apartment without landing a steady income first, anyway.
