Going Postal

It's a breezey 112 here in Phoenix today. So after driving home, breaking a sweat and getting just enough sun to give a fair Swedish child skin cancer, I opened my mailbox to find a slip of paper saying I needed to go to the post office to pick up a parcel. Holy CRAP I'm glad they didn't charge you to get the package, since we all know it probably sat on a shelf somewhere because they didn't even try to deliver it.

Hence why I loathe US mail.

Haha. It was actually funny, but I couldn't let myself laugh when was dealing with the clerk. Here's this package I sent 8 months ago, and I just assumed it was gone forever. The prodigal package has returned!

Now to slaughter a calf.

what a mess... I got a letter back one time too when I was in starkville, that I had mailed 4 months ago... I sometimes wonder where the hell these things sit for all that time.
