Our furry new addition... he's 11 weeks old and adopted me at the RSPCA on the weekend. He's currently licking my nose. We've called him Riley...

You know, looking at Sam, I'm tipping Riley's going to turn out a lot like him, at least looks-wise.

I love cats, but am v.v. allergic, so computer kitty is my best kind.

Hiya!

Oh yes, I didn't get much of a say. There were 12 kittens in the pen at the RSPCA, and Riley saw to it that I didn't get to meet the rest of them - ran up, climbed up into my hair and set to purring. That's weird, the shelter girl says, he doesn't really like people... Like hell he doesn't. He's the most affectionate little thing, actually...

I hope it's okay if I say your Sooty was a beautiful boy...

Feel free to look away :) I just recently lost a cat myself, and couldn't work out how to get by without one, hence, Riley.

I was pretty impressed with the RSPCA. I adopted my last cat from the Lost Dog's Home in North Melbourne, and they were, you know, more or less all right, but these guys were really good.

Also, if I was allowed, I would've brought them all home :)
