Well, you could always punch a pillow. Or, if you have a punching bag, punch that. It always helps to punch things. Exercise is good. Go for a walk around the neighborhood or biking. Playing videogames or computer games could help. Take out your anger at the people in the game, not at others. You could become a mass murderer. Oh wait, that's destructive. Well, it's only to others...
I could suggest others, somewhat depends on the emotion. I'm assuming we're discussing anger though.
Seriously though, you could maybe sit down and think about it. If it's at a specific person, sit them down and calmly explain to them what they did that bothered you. If it's a general thing, I suppose you could start listing positive things about the general public.
Non-destructive way to vent....well...you could always just like...get a few cans of Axe and a lighter, and attack spiders. Not only is it fun, cruel, and unnusual, but it also gets rid of spiders.
