to stay away from me.

I'm really not fit for human consumption right now. Thanks, people who have left good wishes for my dad/expressions of sympathy, etc. It is appreciated.

A person in bandom is pissing me off--easily half of her entries are about how This Band is going to break up soon and it's perfectly logical, and Person In This Band will be so much better off, and she has lost all respect for Other Person, and he's such a phony and hi, it's so easy to duplicate his writing style because he's Not That Original, blahblahblah.

The problem is that I like her otherwise, and I like talking about music and characterization with her, and I like reading her fic. It's just. Scrolling down my flist and hitting one of her posts interpreting Recent Events as Impending Break-up!!! does not help my mood--and no matter what Any Member Of The Band posts in their blogs or says on their TV shows or tells People magazine, it always, always equals Impending Break-up!!! to her. Reading about how My Bandom Band is going to implode any minute now (or after their next album, whichever) is not something I need, ever.

I'm overinvested, I can own that (omg, she thinks My Pairing aren't really bffs anymore! How can she say that!). But seriously. How can you call yourself a fan if you're just waiting around for the end (and are waiting to dance on the grave)?

In other news: I think I was supposed to be a hermit. I am so, so bad with people. It boggles the mind.

Bye.
