Gwen Stefani performed in Orange County tonight.. Guess who joined her for her encore?

FUCKING TOM, ADRIAN, & TONY FROM NO DOUBT

Yes, I was one of those fans who got there early enough to hear Gwen and the boys soundchecking. I was able to hear 'It's My Life', 'Sunday Morning', and part of 'Just A Girl'. Of course, I totally freaked, but I figured they were just screwing around before the show.

I saw Gwen in San Diego, so I knew that for her encore she sang 'The Real Thing' then 'What You Waiting For?'. I can say that I started to get a little worried when she sang 'What You Waiting For?' in the middle of her set. I kept wondering what she would do for an encore because WYWF? goes out with such a bang.

The rest of the show went exactly as I remembered; she ended with 'Orange County Girl' and left the stage to an insane amount of cheering. I was standing with my best friend and we were just casually joking around, her saying 'What would you do if No Doubt came out right now?' I told her that I would die right on the spot. Next thing you know, the lights came on and the first chords of 'Just A Girl' started playing. I honestly wish I could say that I played it cool, but I've been listening to No Doubt since I was 7. "Tragic Kingdom" was the first album I ever bought, and it has been rocking my CD player for 12 years... therefore, I fucking lost it. Most amazing night of my entire life.

After 'Just A Girl', Gwen very excitedly said "Suprise!" to the crowd who was going positively mental. Then they played 'It's My Life' and 'Spiderwebs'.

Then Tony, Adrian, and Tom joined Gwen, her Harajuku Girls, her male dancers, and the rest of the band for a final bow.

Honestly? I feel like I'm on crack right now. Anyone who knows me, knows how much this means to me. I'm still completely freaking out.

Edit Okay, now that I'm done doing my freakout recap..
I started out the night really freaking a little bummed, because I had been looking forward to getting a Wind It Up key necklace forEVER, so when I ran around to each merch stand, and they kept saying they didn't have them, I was ready to cry. Then, there were these drunk bitches behind us that kept acting like idiots, and shouting lewd remarks to Akon, but once Gwen came on stage, nothing else mattered. She was even better than she was in San Diego, and I was having just a wonderful time. Granted, yes, I was still a little bummed that I wouldn't be getting my necklace, but I thoroughly enjoyed the show. Then, of course the encore pretty much made my life. Honestly, I know I'm going to sound like such a fangirl, but I really don't care. I've loved No Doubt for almost 2/3 of my life, and this was seriously the best night of my life. I was pretty much giddy when we got there, and Sam and I could hear them playing for the sound check. I really thought they were just messing around, but having them come out, so unexpected, and to open with 'Just A Girl' of all songs. That has been my favorite song since I was 7 years old. I'm just, God, I'm floored.
