*and since you were nice enough to give place and time, Sollux will be hanging out sort of nearby. Not close enough to hear the conversation, but close enough to hear if Issue calls for help. You know, just in case. Not that he's paranoid or anything ;p*

[No, you REALLY do not know how very much she would rather not.

The bard hasn't harbored an ill will for years. Not like this. She's actually mad. It hadn't gone away and it's been festering all this time, so that when she takes the time to think on it and meditate it makes her even more upset.

Still, perhaps Talia had something of importance to say.

The bard's reply is extremely monotone. ]

The Green. In a bell's time.

[She is not happy. Not happy at all.]

[Talia certainly doesn't need her empathy to read that response at all. Still, rather than respond she just makes note of the time and location.

When the time comes, it's off to the Green she goes. She'll be waiting there, leaning against the rail of the fence patiently.]

[Isabella approaches cautiously. She doesn't know Talia, that much is apparent. For all that the bard is angry, there is some fear mixed with it.

The frown on her face could get stuck there if she continued on any longer. Her feathers showed her agitation, they were spiked in odd places and her good wing canted a bit to the side.]

Yes?

You wished to speak to me.

[Talia has her shields at about half mast, but she's not purposefully mucking in Isabella's mind at all. In truth, she'd not need to to read the blatant distrust and anger within the younger woman.

It was in her steps and posture, and most undeniably in her tone of voice.

Even so, her shields are lowered and the fear is also noticeable; that stings the most of all.

Talia had really done this to herself and had only herself to blame. She pushes up from the fence railing and turns to face Isabella as she approaches.]

I did, yes .. I ask you only for a few minutes of your time and then you can be as far away from me as you feel safely inclined to be.

[Her hazel gaze moves over the bard's face and she finally sighs, tucking an errant section of curls behind her ear.]I owe you an apology of the most profuse nature. You have every right to be angry with me and I'm not expecting you to forgive me immediately, if at all ( ... )
