If he notices her approach he doesn't show. For once he's not brimming with rage either. His hands are shaking, he's sweating and terribly pale, and his feels like a kodo just stomped on it, but he's irrationally furious at everything around him. He just sits by the grave-markers in silence.]

Oh, Kevas...
[It's softly voiced, but she knows he'll hear her even if he's doing little to show it just now. She's moving up along side of him now and happens to catch sight of some dried blood along his forehead. Her eyes widen and her stomach drops just a bit. Her left hand rises to touch his shoulder...]
Kevas, what happe-
[And she falls silent as the open end of the cuffs around her wrist bump against Kevas' right wrist and click shut. Eyes widening slightly, she hadn't done anything that would make it do so.]

[He looks from Talia to the handcuffs in confusion. Then he notices another pair of handcuffs securely clamped around his left wrist. When did that get there and how did he not notice it?
Kevas rises to his feet, angry steadily growing again. This is not a time when he wants to be fucked with.]
Da hell be goin' on?
[He lets Talia's previous question go unanswered.]

Shaking her head, she frowns.]
I don't know... I woke with the damned thing on my wrist and this...
[She holds up her key to show him, but already knew it wouldn't work on her own pair; she'd tried that morning.]
It doesn't unlock my own, however... let me see your other wrist...
[She gestures to his free wrist and the pair of cuffs dangling from it. It's only a moment to discover that her key does little good on his lock, either.]

[It might be another tongue, but the meaning would be about the same in any tongue with the force and tone she says it in. She looks up at her husband, brows rising as she tries to keep him as calm as possible in the face of his sparking anger.]
