Entry #12

Angelina, this is because those flimsy little things you like to cart around cannot possibly fit everything you need to take with you during the day in them, and one of these days you're going to leave something behind.

Yes, it a practical gift. And I know you'll mock me for it. But at least you'll use it.

Katie, the first is a shawl to keep you warm with all those little dresses Carly keeps on sending you. Also practical. The top though is for your birthday - and therefore significantly less practical.

Oliver, these are so you can actually look presentable. And yes, there are social occasions in which they're necessary.

Roger, because I know how difficult students can be, this is for if you ever get stuck in Diagon Alley again babysitting them, it might be a good coping mechanism!

Terence, these are to keep you warm in the drafty castle and also to give your new chambers some colour. I can't imagine that Filch was much in the way of interior decorating.

Merry Christmas everyone, and enjoy your gifts!

In case you've noticed that I've been around less than my usual hours, this is because I was recently accepted to train as a Medi-Witch. So I am now studying part-time and working a few less hours and burning the proverbial candle at both ends, but it will be worth it. I have to choose a specialist potion to brew as part of my practical exam, but I have a few ideas.

And on another note, I was clearing up some old papers when I saw the class list of the famed Pink Wonder that has been dogging our school recently. Would any of the students care to hazard a guess as to which house he was in? First correct answer gets a huge box of Every-Flavoured Beans.
