Thank you, sweet. They're both lovely, and I promise to put them to good use... though I doubt I'll be wearing anymore of Carly's dresses after the last time.

Who wants to know something interesting?

Oh Godfrey, yes, those dresses are evil. I blame everything that happened that night on them.

And I managed to restrain myself enough not to buy you something practical for your birthday. You have been an influence.

Private to Katie: I do?

Absolutely. Evil dresses. Not our fault in the slightest.

An influence, eh? A good one, I'm sure.

Private to Alicia: I may have met a man...

No, not our fault at all.

Um, some of the time.

Private to Katie: Oh really? Do tell.

I guess.... Hufflepuff. Because his golden curls are so angelic. Although, he is a liar, so maybe Slytherin. But then, Seamus sometimes lies too and he's not in Slytherin. Stick with Hufflepuff.

Thank you for guessing, Lavender, but that wasn't the correct answer. Hopefully whomever gets it will share some of the Beans with you. Angelic? Lockhart? I think my brain just exploded.

Thank you very much for the present. I was ready to steal some of the embarrassingly expensive whiskey that Teagan Moran bought Marcus for Christmas. Except I wasn't quite that desperate or suicidal.

And sadly, I know the answer to your question about Lockhart. Found out when I was doing some research back a few years ago for Defense.

... I think a part of me died a little inside when I found out.

Well, from what I saw you were getting dangerously close to that point. If only I can been able to give you the Kahlua before you got whisked away.

I offer my condolescences, although I must admit I laughed when I first found out. Who would have thought? I would have picked him for a Slytherin myself, although I suppose he's not an idiot.

Every Flavour Beans? Yum. I say Grif the lion house.

No, I'm afraid it's not Gryffindor, Mister Goyle. A Gryffindor wouldn't have syphoned off the glory of other people's great deeds, they would have done them for themselves!

I am not Mister Goyle, I am Mister Crabbe.

The lion house are aregantthink they are so good but are not, like him.

Well, that's a matter of opinion, Mister crabby Crabbe. I'd argue with him but that would be the intellectual equivalent of bullying.

Well, your offer leads me to believe that the correct answer is the last thing anyone would think of. Therefore, I'll take a chance and say he's from my own house, even if the mere thought gives me the shivers.

And now I'm torn. Part of me wants to be wrong because... eww, Lockhart, a Ravenclaw? However, part of me wants the sweets.

Yes, it is indeed Ravenclaw. You get the box of Every-Flavoured Beans.

Well done. And sorry.

Sweeties!

I am sorry too. But then again, if we look carefully in the records I'm sure we'll find that all four houses have had embarrassing alumni.

Exactly, Miss Li. Perhaps that could be something you could do for the new student paper? The Phoenix Song, I believe it's called. You might research and find out which houses noted witches and wizards were Sorted into. I've always wondered what houses Rita Skeeter and Cornellius Fudge were in myself they had better not have been Gryffindors.

Thank you for the shirt and tie. If I must strangle myself with such things, then I suppose that's one of the more decent ones.

You're very welcome.

Incidentally, why were you walking around with a black eye a few weeks ago? I didn't have a chance to ask you before I went home and was wondering about it.

Why is your response to my question a question in itself? How do I know how you got the bruise if you don't even know yourself?

I'd say you do know, but for whatever reason you don't want to tell me. You stubborn...male person.
