You should consider talking to the teacher about it... Especially if one of the absences was because you had flu like symptoms.

The main thing in that quote is that you should stay home for at least 24 hours after fever is gone

I did try that. He said I needed a note from the medical center. I just think he needs to realize he has a very rigid absence policy that's a little silly for a 9AM class.
