My recruiter was supposed to come get to to go take the ASVAB. I was bathed, dressed, information and documentation collected, etc., ready to go. She comes in and tells me nope, not today. What kind of references? I remember Xail telling me "Not your peer group", and if you strike that and your bitchy parents, what remains?

Well.... I have to have three. I'm thinking of Brother Waite (our pastor since I was maybe two or three) and my old French teacher (if I can get him to respond). The third one eludes me for now. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Also, Mom has apparently told my brother she isn't going to help me with it. So I'm completely on my own. I'm allowed use of the fax machine tho.

The requirements are that they are not family, not in my peer group, and must have known me for a fair period of time. The thing is, I can't just say "This person will be my reference, here call them." I have to have them fill out a form, and sign it. The good news is, they'll allow a faxed signature.
