 so on april 25th the dr. phil show had a mtf father on with her 2 daughters. Michael (now Kayla) was asked repeatedly why she went ahead and started transitioning even though her daughters were obviously devastated and were not handling it well. i tuned in as i thought this might be a great chance for a family to reconnect and for middle america

I am not a big fan of Dr. Phil as it is, but I was especially pissed about the way he handled this show. He was ridiculous - very judgemental and ignorant.

I am proud of you for writing down your feelings. People need to stand up, even in a small way like journaling and letters, against assholes like this.

What great writing! AND a great presentation of a totally valid point of view. It does make one wonder how Dr. Phil feels about the queer community and if he'd have the guts to say so without using the mask of a family's pain to relate those opinions.

i think you told me something about it but i'll look it over more when i have some time. a cursory peek makes me jealous of your talents on the webpagage. good lord! do my friends ever juggle less than 20 things at a time?

thanks for your support and validation. i really don't write ranty things that much in public but it's good to know i came off as valid and not a hater.
