my mom found out i was a secret vegan and she threw out all the rice cakes in the house,then she mashed potatoes with butter and cream,,can I still be vegan if I can't see the animal product?

p.s My boyfriend called and he's pissed about the rice cakes he left here that got thrown out by that bitch.
