I'm sorry LJ, but what are you even thinking.

Why do you keep on doing things that will just lose you valuable customers and users? Attempting to look modern does not mean taking away from the usability of the site. It seems like half the changes are unnecessary, and half just impede functionality. Sure, update your look if you want, but look at how and why people use this site first. But I don't know, maybe this is what the Russian userbase wants? They are the biggest customer base. But I can't imagine what use it would be to anyone to get rid of subject headers and stuff like the 'parent thread' link.

It seems that the Russian users aren't happy with it either; some of them seen happy about it, but the majority of them also seem to want the old system back. I saw this yesterday. And the preview option for the comments is also gone, so no more fixing up mistakes before posting. I really don't see what the point is.
