Here are some photos from the family Christmas:
My mother and sister refused to turn up, some people are so rude! Just because they are half a world away in America they think that that is some excuse….
More photos under the cut:
Hungry Rowan?
We had both a turkey and a duck, and ham as well. Nothing like a good old pagan winter slaughter feast to celebrate Christmas in Summer!
We were very honoured to have the World’s Best Dog in attendance.
and look, we also had the World’s Best Dog’s owner!
Pressies, pressies….. my brother-in-law played Santa Clause
“Look what I got Dad!” a vintage monoploy set (used to thrash my husband, brother and friend in the early hours of the new year - I had hotels on Broad Walk and Park Place [Park Lane and Mayfair in the Pommy/Aussie version], Pennsylvanie Ave, Nth Carolina Ave, Pacific Ave [ummm Regent st - green] and Marvin Gardens, Ventnor Ave Atlantic Ave [next down/ yellow] - the only other developed property was Elwyn’s six houses….)
and BJ gave me a calander with a photo that he had taken himself, very thoughtful.
Jason hiding behind me, (both examining presents I think), Miss Mutt in the foreground and Vija looking at the vintage Monopoly
[Not a good shot me me, but the dog looks good.]
CHEERS It is de-alcholised wine, really….
Hubby is just out of view waving.
BJ with his film camera - doing what he does best.
Finally, here is a grandfather-to-be enjoying his Christmas beer in the sun.
And here’s the other one:
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
